KINSALE-based Hegarty Horgan Solicitors LLP has reason to celebrate this month, with two of its own officially joining the ranks of the legal profession after qualifying as solicitors.
Clodagh O’Gorman and Leigha Wright, who both trained with the firm, have completed the journey from trainees to fully qualified solicitors.
For many clients of Hegarty Horgan, the names will already be familiar. Both women have been a visible and valued presence in the office for a number of years, quietly building their expertise across areas including conveyancing, litigation, and family law while earning the trust and confidence of clients along the way.

Clodagh first joined the firm in 2021 and has become well regarded for her calm, measured approach, the kind of steady hand that clients facing stressful legal situations really value.
Working primarily across litigation, personal injuries and conveyancing, she has a particular talent for cutting through complexity and helping clients feel clear and confident about their options.
That skill was formally recognised during her training when she was awarded the Law Society of Ireland Skills Prize for Advocacy, a national honour given to the strongest performer in civil advocacy on the Professional Practice Course, and no small achievement.
Leigha, a UCC graduate, brings a thorough, organised and client-centred approach to everything she does.
Known for her ability to explain legal matters in plain, accessible language, she has made her mark across conveyancing, litigation and family law.
Her academic ability was recognised in impressive fashion with the Law Society of Ireland Findlater Prize, awarded to the trainee solicitor who achieves the highest overall marks nationally across all Professional Practice Course examinations.
It is one of the most prestigious accolades available to a trainee solicitor in Ireland, and a remarkable distinction.
Managing partner Gary O’Sullivan paid warm tribute to both women, describing the firm as ‘extremely proud’ of everything they have achieved.
‘Clodagh and Leigha have shown exceptional commitment, professionalism and dedication to client care throughout their training,’ he said.
‘Their qualification is thoroughly deserved, and we are delighted to welcome them as solicitors.’
Hegarty Horgan Solicitors LLP is a full-service practice based in Kinsale, offering expertise across business law, conveyancing, disputes and litigation, family law, probate and trusts, wills and enduring powers of attorney.
