A KINSALE firm is celebrating after being crowned Best Travel Agency, Republic of Ireland at a prestigious event in the UK.

Magic Vacations owner John Barrett picked up the accolade in Manchester at the tenth TTG Top 50 Travel Awards earlier this month – having also won the title three years ago.

With a national presence particularly in the theme park holiday sector, Magic Vacations is one of the continuing and growing success stories in the Irish travel trade, headed up by John and Maria Barrett.

The awards celebrate the best travel agencies in Ireland and the UK, and are determined by a judging panel taking into account top-tier customer service, innovation and best business practise, and all award entries must be accompanied by a signed testimonial.

Technology, marketing and sustainability are all taken into account.

John Barrett said accepting the gong was a huge moment for Magic Vacations.
