THE Skibbereen Lions Garden Party fundraiser which was held at Liss Ard Estate and Gardens last Sunday was a tremendous success. It was attended by around 160 guests who enjoyed food, drinks, raffle prizes and dancing with music from St Fachtna’s Silver band and 2 Jacks & a Jill.
All funds raised will go to the Lions Ireland International Fund for Ukraine and also to local charities and good causes in the Skibbereen area. The event was hosted by Skibbereen Lions Club president Kevin Fitzgerald and attended by District Governor for Lions Clubs of Ireland, Ann Ellis.
