An Garda Siochana have confirmed that the road at the Halfway roundabout on the Bandon to Cork road has been closed after a lorry overturned.

The closure was imposed as a safety precaution while the road traffic collision was being dealt with but a garda spokesperson said that the road is likely to be fully reopened before 7pm this evening.
