KILBRITTAIN-TIMOLEAGUE are through to the last four of this year’s Cork Camogie Premier Junior county league.
The Carbery club faced Milford in Group B of the premier junior last Friday, and built a 2-3 to 0-8 interval advantage thanks to Kate O’Neill and Amy O’Sullivan goals. Laura Sheehy was also on target.
Milford twice found the net to take the lead early in the second half. Inaccurate shooting proved frustrating for the hosts until Aoife O’Mahony, Michaela Holland and Rachel Butler found their range.

In the Cork Junior A county league, Barryroe produced an excellent performance to see off Banteer and remain in second place behind Bride Rovers.
The hosts got off to the perfect start when Cliona Harte fired into the net and Róisín Ní Bhuachalla added a point.
Barryroe overwhelmed their opponents during a dominant first half. Harte goaled for a second time before Shona Fleming and Sarah Harte points had Barryroe firmly in control, 2-8 to 0-0, at the break.
