IT WILL be a historic day for Carbery hurling as they play their first-ever U15 Premier 1 county league game away to Blackrock this Thursday (6.30pm).
Carbery are in Group 1 alongside Glen Rovers, Midleton and Douglas. The divisional side will have six group games in total, testing themselves against some of the top teams in the county through to the end of June.
Their remaining fixtures see Carbery face Ballincollig at home on April 30th, Glen Rovers away on May 14th, Midleton at home on May 28th, Duhallow away on June 11th, and Douglas on June 25th. Home games will be played in Newcestown, Clonakilty and Ballinascarthy.

Carbery are managed by Bantry Blues clubman Joe O’Donnell, with Newcestown native Pat Kenneally also part of the coaching team.
With Ibane Gaels also competing at U15 Premier 1 level, players from Argideen Rangers and Barryroe are unavailable for Carbery selection. However, the division can call on the remaining clubs in the region.
