CORK and Kerry will battle it out on Sunday to win Corn Pháidí Uí Shé, the new trophy for the Munster senior football championship.

The new cup was officially unveiled by Munster GAA at a special launch event in Ventry, Co. Kerry on Wednesday evening.

The launch took place in the late Páidí Ó Sé’s Pub, a fitting venue to honour one of the province’s most iconic football figures.

The new trophy is named in memory of the legendary Kerry footballer and manager, whose legacy continues to inspire generations across Munster and beyond.

John Cleary’s Cork will hope to be the first team to lift the cup, as they take on Kerry in the Munster SFC final at Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday, 1.45pm throw-in.
