CHARLEVILLE man Darragh Fitzgibbon has been appointed as captain of the Cork senior hurling team for the new season.
The role of vice-captain will be filled by Mark Coleman of Blarney.
Fitzgibbon replaces Robert Downey as the skipper for Ben O'Connor's side.

The man who plays midfield or centre-forward has won three All-Star awards (2018, 2024 and 2025) and has cemented himself as one of the main players for the Rebels.
