JOHN Hodnett powered into the record books when he scored four tries for Munster in a convincing 41-14 URC win against Ulster.
The Rosscarbery man (27) is just the 11th player to score four tries in a URC match, and he is the fourth Munster player following Mike Mullins (2001), Alex Wooton (2017) and Skibbereen’s Gavin Coombes (2021).
Naturally named player of the match after his heroics, Hodnett quipped ‘I was running around like a headless chicken!’
