Strong support was evident over the weekend, with a large Carbery Macra turnout cheering on both Jack and their own Mr Personality representative, Stephen Murphy, who also performed admirably throughout the event.
After a highly competitive weekend, the title of Mr Personality 2026 was awarded to Patrick Walton, who represented Kilkenny Macra. Joe Hennessy of Limerick took second place while UCC Macra’s Jack Murphy came third.
Macra president Josephine O’Neill commended the winners, particpants and organising committee.
‘The Mr Personality Festival has long been a much-loved feature of the Macra calendar,’ she said.
‘Festivals like this would not be possible without members to participate and this year’s participants were all fantastic representatives of our organisation, showcasing everything great about Macra.
‘As always the contestants were the true stars of the show, and very much make the festival what it is. Events like Mr Personality highlight the very best of Macra, they bring members together, build friendships and create memories.’
