CLOGAGH Ploughing Association hosted their 28th annual ploughing match on Sunday, on a fine warm day, on the lands of James O’Driscoll, Ballinascarthy.

The competition , in conjunction with the Cork West County final, started at 11am on lea ground in good condition, with 28 competitors taking part on the day.

Senior Conventional: 1st Kieran Coakley 121; 2nd Ger Kirby 104; 3rd Jim Grace 102. Intermediate Conventional: 1st John A O’Donovan 99; 2nd Jackie O’Driscoll 73.
