Cappabue NS held its 3rd annual Easter Egg hunt in the Parklands, Kealkill today. Hundreds of children attended the event where they had to walk around the park finding wooden eggs before they received their chocolate egg at the end of the track. It was standing room only at Cnoc Bui in Union Hall last Thursday night as hundreds attended the opening of the Rossmore Artists exhibition ‘Across the Fields’. The artists are Lesley Cox, Etain Hickey (Rossmore Pottery), Éadaoín Harding Kemp, Sara Hodson, Anne Harrington Rees, and Jim Turner (Rossmore Pottery).

To mark Palm Sunday and Holy Week, the churches in Drimoleague came together and started with a service in St Matthews Church of Ireland with a bible reading for Palm Sunday and the Passion of Jesus. Everyone then walked together, joined by Patty the donkey, to conclude with Mass at All Saints Church in Drimoleague. Fr Eoin Whooley, Rev Adam Pullen and Helen with Patty the donkey.
