Bandon, West Cork, Ireland. 17th May, 2026. Bandon Agricultural Show took place on Sunday last. The show offered classes from cattle and horses to horticulture and poultry and everything inbetween. Taking shelter from the rain in their cattle trailer were Darragh; Grace & Cian Bryan and Aoife Hawkesworth, all from Fountainstown, Co. Cork. Andy Gibson.

Seven primary schools from around West Cork attended an athletics activity day at Rosscarbery Ladies GAA ground today. At the recent Cork Fleadh, CCE Baile Núis U15 Grúpaí Cheoil won the county U15 Grúpaí Cheoil competition. The group of 20 young musicians, under the mentorship of Aoibheann O'Driscoll and Rian McCarthy, qualified for the Munster Fleadh Cheoil in Lismore, County Waterford in July.
